Malcolm is my 25lb (or something around that) rubber band ball.
I started making Malcolm in 2002, but left him small and never saw him again until 2006.
In 2006 I got serious about making him bigger, and by 2008 he was pretty much the size he is now.
Buying rubber bands that now fit his size became very costly for my parents, and they
refused to continue to support my addiction. Needless to say, Malcolm hit a growth stunt.

I have the goal in life to have the record for the 'Worlds Largest Rubberband Ball' and I'm 110% serious.
I've emailed plenty of big companies in regards to sponsoring me to get this record, but no one ever replies.
I know it's probably going to be a very costly task, but with the right sponsor,
I think this could be easily accomplished.
I'm willing to put in all the time and effort required to complete this, I'm not sure if I'd be able to house it however while I'm here in Vancouver, but I certainly could if I was doing it from back home in Australia.
I plan on documenting the whole thing, start to finish. Hell, I'd even count all the rubber bands used!
There would be constant updates of progress, photos, videos, anything the sponsor requested of me.
I would retain ownership rights of the ball, however, as well as the title, but the sponsor would play a major role and be known as the sponsor, possibly even with a large rubber band with the sponsors name on it on the outside!
